On Thursday morning, 2016 five-star athlete Demetris Robertson woke up knowning he was going to meet with Notre Dame assistant coaches Mike Sanford, Scott Booker and Mike Denbrock.
However, the Notre Dame staff had a surprise for the Georgia native.

Yes, that would be Notre Dame’s equipment truck.
Yes, Notre Dame drove it 14 hours to Savannah.
Yes, it might not be a swaying factor in his recruitment, but it’s a hell of a statement.
Robertson could possibly wait until after next Wednesday’s National Signing Day to actually sign with a school, as he is waiting on SAT scores. He will be at Georgia Tech this weekend.
Notre Dame is battling Alabama, Georgia and Stanford for his services.
